Christmas 2017

I wasn’t sure what my plans would be for Christmas this year. Being single and not close to family, the holidays can be a difficult time. Any holiday or event that requires that “family” must come together and “fellowship” and “make merry” makes me very uncomfortable. It has always bothered me that they don’t create advertisements or commercials at Christmas depicting people without families, or husbands, or wives, or pets, or even friends nearby. And so many hard workers out there have no choice but to go to their job. And I’ll never understand why Thanksgiving is right before Xmas? That is just too much family exposure, too much eating, spending, people pleasing….I think they should move Thanksgiving to summer time. A six month break in between holidays just makes sense! To my wallet and my sanity! I decided to go to Disney Land & California Adventure on a hopper pass. We arrived at 8am and, believe it or not, we closed the park down leaving at an exhausted 12:30am!! They do say it’s the happiest place on earth! Does it look like I’m having fun? I even bought my first pair of “ears!”

Creating memories…..

The best part of my Christmas season has been visiting Chicago! It was ice age cold!! And it snowed! And I loved it! Here is a short time line of photos documenting my journey.

This is the view from my window during my stay. And my first bit of snow!

Ready to hit the night life of Chicago!

Outdoor Christmas Tree! Burrr…..

This is me!! NOT ice skating!! I can balance myself in towering heels but blades?? On ice??? Eeeek! That’s real tricky. I’ll pass!

Here I am at the giant clitoris!! Downtown Chicago! And everyone wanted to touch it?? Pervs!!

This is my view from the 20th floor of the Peninsula Hotel while enjoying a break for lunch at the Peninsula’s Spa. (My second visit!) Chicago has certainly caused my breasts to grow larger!! Ahem….Thank you Chicago Style Deep Dish Pizza!

I do love Christmas Trees! I love them BIG! And I love them SPARKLY! Here I am next to the gorgeous Christmas Tree in the lobby, showing off my new, most favorite hosiery! Look closely: “BONDAGE WOLFORDS!” My Fantasy Cum True! Take a look! These legs and hosiery are worth sharing!!

I enjoyed watching the Puccini opera from front and center box seats in a beautiful theater. “Turandot” was the performance I saw by Puccini during my visit. The story was riveting and entirely compelling the whole way through! Turandot is a princess with some kind of attitude!! Boy was she a mean lady! If a man desired to court her, they were required to solve 3 riddles. If they failed, she chopped off their heads! (I think) One determined Prince solved her riddles, fell deeply in love with this incredibly “large,” mean lady, with an extraordinary voice, even though her evil heart prompted her to murder his best friend! And he loved her anyway! Tremendous devotion. Yes I was impressed. I also loved that it was an Italian opera and the entire location of the performance was China. (Or Japan-but I think China) This was one of my very favorite experiences during my stay!

Here I am sitting on “Santa’s” lap at the Peninsula Hotel after having the most spectacular primping day ever! First, I worked out in their awesome gym, next I got my hair cut, colored, and styled, next a 90 minute deep tissue, hot stone massage, then a divine body scrub treatment, then lunch by the pool, then a glorious facial, then a so-so mani-pedi. I really felt like a Princess, although I will definitely choose an alternative location for a mani-pedi. The Peninsula beats the Ritz Carlton by far. I visited them twice!! After a long, luxurious day of spa treatments, I enjoyed a lovely dinner there to end the evening right!

And lastly, here are my “good-bye Chicago” flowers! A lovely, gift of fragrance, beauty, and memories of my most perfect visit to the famous, beautiful windy city of Chicago! I will miss you deep dish pizza! Ain’t none like you in any other city! (I think you have NYC beat!)

I love you Chicago!

Chicago Is…..My Kind of Town!

Happy Holidays Chicago! I am so happy to be here for part of the Christmas Season! I landed at Midway airport Wednesday afternoon. I started my trip with an elegant High Tea at the swanky Drake Hotel followed by a lovely dinner and my first snow flurries of the year! So pretty! I love snow and cold weather! (For about 2 weeks ONLY!) Thursday was followed by a 6 hour long day at the spa. I had my first facial! Yes! The kind that doesn’t come exploding out of some invasively swollen penis! It was delightfully perfect! I had a very nice massage as well. It was another first for me! It was the first time I ever had a masseuse fall asleep while massaging me! I was slightly offended, but hoping he had a good time partying it up the night before??? After the spa, I enjoyed the “Nutcracker” ballet. A Christmas classic! It really feels like true Christmas time once you’ve seen the Nutcracker live or recorded. Now I am in the Christmas mood! And boy is my meal plan shot to all HELL, so I high tailed it to the closest gym today to work off some of those delicious calories I am fully enjoying putting in my mouth. And now friends, I must depart as I am going to doll myself up and squeeze myself into my favorite red dress by “Stop Staring” clothing line, a pair of silky Wolfords hosiery, and my sexy black pumps all to enjoy the Italian opera “Puccini” tonight! First an early dinner, next a short history lesson on the opera itself, then I am committed to a 3.5 hour opera! I cannot wait! Bye for now! Here are a few images I’d like to share with you from my arrival here! I’ve been so distracted by beauty in downtown Chicago, I keep forgetting to take photos! There is something to be said for putting your phone down and enjoying the moment. Have a great weekend and enjoy the updates!

I’m finally recovering from a dislocated rib on my left side. Treatment has finished, but the doctor has advised me that I am still not completely healed. Movement has been challenging & I’m forced into a slow pace. Be careful ladies. I truly believe 22 years of wearing my corsets too tight while playing out our BDSM fantasies had leant itself to this injury. The breathe constriction & unnecessary compression corsets cause for extended periods of time is not good for your body. Corset training is risky as an adult. This is the type of injury you can incur from excessive corset training. I’m grateful to finally be feeling better after over a month of forced down time and treatment. I must say, I am very scared to put on a tightly, cinched in corset ever again.
